Ecommerce SEO is where the biggest organic wins, and biggest disasters, happen
An ecommerce site is fundamentally a content scaling problem. A 5,000-SKU catalogue plus categories, sub-categories, brand pages, collections and blog content easily produces 20,000+ indexable URLs. Faceted navigation can multiply that by 100. Get the architecture right and every product page contributes to ranking authority; get it wrong and Google sees a mountain of near-duplicate, thin, or canonical-confused pages and devalues the entire domain.
On top of architecture, ecommerce SEO has unique technical requirements: Product schema with reviews, price, availability and shipping; ItemList for category pages; BreadcrumbList nested correctly; price drop and sale markup; image SEO at scale; out-of-stock handling that doesn't tank rankings; and CRO that doesn't break SEO. Few in-house teams have the bandwidth to run all of it at once.
Uddhavo has shipped ecommerce SEO programmes on Shopify, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and custom Next.js/Remix builds. The same principles apply across stacks; the implementations are platform-specific and we know the levers on each.
